Well as it turns out, after writing that last post I went right into the studio to work on the little red painting. It still is not resolved, however I think it's coming along so I though I'd go ahead and share:
I'm not sure this will end up in the show for a few reasons that I need to sort out on my own before I write about it, but I am enjoying my struggle with this regardles.
Well it was a fun Memorial weekend for my painting, as I had hoped. Weeks ago I primed a 10 x 10" canvas with cadmium red, and I had no idea just how long that would take to dry! WEEKS! But finally it was time to get to work on it, and this is how I spent the h0liday

As friends and family prepare for "getting out of town" for memorial day weekend, I am looking forward to settling "into town" after a week in NYC, and can't wait to spend the next three days in the studio.
